Formed from the ashes of various respected Rochester bands, Decembers Halo takes off where the already cliche concept of metal/hardcore left off as their members have shared the stage with such national acts as Hatebreed, Bleed the Sky, Avenged Sevenfold, Sworn Enemy, Full Blown Chaos, From Autumn To Ashes, Society 1, Pitbull Daycare and Nuclear Assault. After spending since last November carefully crafting each song, they debuted on July 31st, 2005 at Waterstreet Music Hall sharing the stage with 19 well respected local bands including National Recording Artists Roses Are Red (trustkill records) in a benefit to raise money for Fivestar Riot frontman Charlie Cote in his fearless fight for cancer. After receiving an overwhelming response from their performance sor such a great cause, it further inspired them to do the only thing they know how to do: to create music that people can relate to and feel good about. However, this is only the beginning for Decembers Halo. After playing only 2 shows, they shared the stage with National Recording Artists Nuclear Assault and were invited back to Steel Music Hall the following weekend to play the second day of the 2nd Annual Jagermeister Throwdown Weekend with Stemm, 40 Ounce, Inherence and Setiva. Decembers Halo plans to take the rest of the year off to record new material.
